In the 1970s, Jesús Sarasa filmed his three daughters on Super 8 film. Thirty years later, his daughter Cristina filmed his three children on VHS. Discovering this family archive gives rise to this documentary which,
by intervening in home cinema, aims to access its essence: the intimate gaze of the parents and their vocation to transcend in embalmed memories
.
These two generations dialogue through the images that they recorded of their children. In both, we see the bond arising from the decision to gaze and their involvement with what is filmed. The passing of the years and the change of format fade into the background when an incomprehensible genetic component emerges from these
images.
